Upgrade StorageTagging portion of notes - an update?
Hello,
I'm looking to tag portions of notes in Zotero. I mean, while typing in a note, call the built-in tagging pop-up selector with for example the pound key (#), so that the tag when selected in the main interface can then point to at minimum the note as if the note as a whole had the tag.
I don't want to really tag the entire note, which is confusing and won't help me find back the portion of text I was typing/extracting. I don't want to create as many notes as typed/extracted portions of text, which is obviously time consuming. I'm not looking to integrate Obsidian just yet, and I'm not interested in adding any other "knowledge base" software to the mix.
I know I can just type keywords and then search them in side the note. I don't want to do just that and not be able to cross-reference my extensive tags list.
Any extension that can do that? Is it at all possible inside of Zotero? If so and no extension, could I easily program it? Could it be a feature in the future?
