File synchronization error

Problem: automatic file synchronization via WebDAV stopped working.
Restarted the application/computer - this did not solve the problem.

    That's likely just a connection problem between you and your WebDAV server.

    If you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing this we can confirm.

    Is this on a very slow/bad connection? A 2 MB download is timing out after 30 seconds of inactivity.

    No, the connection speed is normal. On another computer, synchronization occurs without error messages, but some files are not available (see screenshot), and these are not the most recent files added to Zotero. It seems that the problem occurs only with some files, and not the most recent ones.

  • Well, thanks. I will delete the Zotero data directory on my PC and reinstall the application. After synchronization, I will add the missing files manually. Let's see if the problem occurs again.
  • No, don't delete the data directory. That's not a troubleshooting step. This is a problem with your internet connection or WebDAV setup.
