Zotero for firefox corrupted

Hello, i've been trying to install the zotero connector addon for some time now, but whatever I try, I get a message from firefox saying that the add-on couldn't be installed because it appears to be corrupted.

I've try installing the XPI directly but it returns the same error. I've looked on all the discussion dealing with this problem but found no solutions and I'm a bit stumbled

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04.5 if it matters

    There's no problem with the XPI. You either have a broken download cached or there's some problem with your Firefox installation.

    Download the XPI from another browser (or even a different network, if this is through a proxy) and try installing that. If that still doesn't work, try in a new Firefox profile. Beyond that, you'd have to check Firefox error console for a specific error message.
