Upgrade StorageHow to view all highlighted text passages with a specific tag across multiple PDFs?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on a systematic literature review using Zotero. As part of my workflow, I've been reading and highlighting various papers using the Zotero PDF reader. For some of these highlights, I’ve also added tags to categorize them thematically.
Now I’d like to view all highlighted text passages (across different PDFs) that are associated with a specific tag. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to do this. When I click on a tag in the left sidebar, I can see which papers have that tag — but not the individual highlights or annotations themselves.
Is there a way to filter or list all highlights based on their tag, across multiple documents?
Any tips, workarounds, or plugin suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

dstillmanNot currently, but in an upcoming version annotations will be shown in the items list, and you'll be able to match them directly based on tags in order to create a note from all of them, etc.

YokotaashiWow I didn't realize this! I thought this whole time that I would be able to quickly review all of the tagged citations all at once for a specific tag! That is definitely going to be a huge setback I wish I would have known this earlier so I could figure out another way. I wonder what the point of tags are then if not to quickly locate the tagged items???
