Upgrade StorageAnnotations not showing up in Zotero PDF reader

As I mentioned in another thread, PDF annotations I'm taking on my Boox Go 10.3 reader aren't being synced back into my Zotero library. The underlining is shows up, but not the associated comment (to clarify: it's a typed comment, not a handwritten comment). I'm using the native Zotero bind function on my Boox.
I decided to try exporting the annotated PDF from the Boox to my PC, and see if the annotations show up in another PDF reader. I discovered the show up in both Adobe Reader and Drawboard PDF. However, when I link the annotated PDF to a record in the Zotero desktop app and open the Zotero PDF reader, the annotations don't show up (only the underlining).
Is there a setting I need to enable in Zotero to get this to work? The File > Import Annotations button is greyed out.

martynas_bCan you send an example PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

martynas_bThose are squiggly annotations, which currently can’t be imported into Zotero. If you use underline annotations instead, it will work as expected.

tomabel@martynas_b thanks so much for this - that worked. Highlighting also works.
