Tapping top left status bar on iPhone/iPad scrolls PDF to the beginning

This is a global feature across many iOS apps. When you tap the clock on the system status bar at the top left, it will scroll up to the top of whatever you are looking at.

Although this may make sense for some apps, it does not make sense for something like Zotero, particularly when you are reading something long like a book. Last thing you want is accidentally tapping that status bar which teleports you to page 1, and you lose track of where you were in a 500 page document.

Currently the workaround I have is to use horizontal scrolling, which I don't like.

I know this can be disabled by developers, because some apps (e.g. Notability, Goodnotes) don't have this issue.

Can Zotero please disable this ?

(I'm pretty sure I have seen this posted before in this forum, perhaps by me, but I cannot find it back now, sorry for the duplicate ... on the other hand this is very annoying)

(It's just the top, not the top left.)

I'd be hesitant to remove this — I could see it being useful in some situations — but it would make sense to show the Back button that we already show above the page scrubber when tapping an intra-PDF link. Could potentially move a version of that up near the top of the screen to make it more obvious.

Hey @b0c5, in the latest iOS beta we indeed have handled this as part of intra-document navigation, so scrolling to the top should show a Back navigation button, that takes you back to the page you were.
