Disabling fast horizontal scrolling
Dear Community,
I was wondering if there was a way to disable the default behavior of the Zotero Reader for horizontal scrolling, i.e. considering horizontal scrolling as fast vertical scrolling while in the reader.
Using a touchpad, this is very annoying, as the feature is very sensitive to changes in the direction of scrolling on the touchpad. Trying to slowly scroll the pages of a document through standard vertical scrolling, you often end up being damped in another section of the document through "fast" horizontal scrolling.
I tried a rough attempt to change the default options for a series of keys in the Config Editor, namely
mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_x
mousewheel.system_scroll_override.horizontal.factor
apz.overscroll.enabled
and to add a couple of keys
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action.override
without being able to modify the current setting.
Is there any way to modify this behavior? Thanks for your help!
