Feature Request: Advanced Search "Attachement Integrity"

edited 7 days ago
Please add a "Attachement Integrity" search-option to the advanced search with options like "can be located" vs. "can't be located" (or something like that). That would allow you to search for all attachements that can't be located, save that search, and delete these attachements (or repair them).

Hi,
due to a Zotmoov mistake (changing from "move" to "copy" and back... don't ask why) I ended up with twice the attached pdf files. The first attachement can't be located. The second attachement can be loacted and works fine. Both of them have the same name.

I want to bulk delete all files that can't be located. Unfortunately, the suggested solution using "Zotero Storage Scanner" doesn't seem to work with the 7.0+ "Zotero Attachement Scanner". The new version doesn't check for the integrity of the file. Due to the huge amount of items in my library it's not possible to select all of the corrupted attachements by hand.

Zotero already tells you that the file can't be located by making the attached file icon semi transparent. So why not add this to the list of search-options? I think this would help quite some people besides me looking at the other forum posts (that were resolved with the "Zotero Storage Scanner").

(In case you have any solution for my problem despite a new zotero feature, please let me know.)
