Articles not saving to group file using Chrome extension on windows desktop

For the past month or so, I have been having trouble using the web library to save articles. I have deleted and downloaded the extension, rebooted the computer, etc., but still no luck. Can you please advise?

    (This is mostly about the desktop app, though. Do you really mean that you're trying to save directly to the web library? Why?)
  • Shouldn't I use the web library? I thought that was the cloud space?
    I click on web library and it takes me to all of my saved articles.
    I usually use my surface pro and do not have any problems. Currently, I am using a desktop and the articles are not saving in the desired file locations, even when they are selected. Suggestions?
  • To clarify, I am in "MY library"
  • It appears to be saving the article but I am not sure what location it is saving. I have a group file open in Zotero and selected but when I use the extension to save, it is not saved to that file. The saved location is a mystery.

    The question is whether you're using the desktop app or the web library. The Zotero Connector can save directly to the web library if you give permission to do so — and it will say that it's saving to zotero.org — but you should always have the desktop app open and save to that if possible.

    Can you provide a screenshot of the save popup for a page you've tried to save and a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save?
