WebDAV Sync Issue – Report ID Included

Hello, I’m a Zotero user who has been successfully using the software in connection with my personal NAS device via WebDAV.

At some point—though I’m not exactly sure when—I began encountering an error message:
"WebDAV verification failed. Verify your file sync settings in the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences."

I haven’t changed any settings, so I’m not sure what might have caused the issue. As a result, synchronization is no longer working.

My Report ID is as follows: [947198379]

I’d appreciate it if you could let me know if there’s a way to resolve this.

    Here is the Debug ID (D222691023).

    Oh, I was using HTTPS, but one day, synchronization suddenly stopped working.

    I checked that HTTP is still working well.

  • The server just can't be reached.
  • It means, do I need to repair my NAS server?
  • We can't help you debug issues with your NAS, obviously. Zotero just can't connect to it.
  • On my iPad, the settings allow HTTPS connections without any issues, and when I highlight something there, it syncs properly. When I press "Sync" on Zotero for Windows, I can see the highlights made on the iPad.

    But it still said "WebDAV verification failed. Verify your file sync settings in the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences."

    Highlights sync via Zotero servers and don't have anything to do with WebDAV syncing. This is some sort of network issue on your PC or NAS.
