Space bar issue

Hi,
When I'm in a note space bar is not working. It just jumps around screen creating a blue box around the heading. I've tried restarting the computer, updating mac and the zotero app itself and it's still not working. Strangely there is no issue in the typing box when I click add tag, its only the note window.
