Can I move the ~/.zotero folder?

Hello All,

Is it possible to move the ~/.zotero folder to another folder like ~/.config or any other folder.

The folder ~/Zotero which contains the data and the database can be moved via the settings in zotero, however I did not find a way to move the folder ~/.zotero.

Is there a way to move the folder?

Not currently. Zotero is based on Firefox, and Firefox doesn't use $XDG_CONFIG_HOME. There's a two-decade-old Firefox ticket (do not post there) to make that an option, which has seen some progress recently. If that's ever finished, Zotero will gain support as well.
