You'd have to report it to the maintainer of the third-party package you're using. (There are various known crashes in the Flatpak version.) We can only provide support for the official tarball from this site and the zotero-deb package.

Many thanks for pointing it out that it isn't an official distribution of the software. I have since switched to the tar ball method.

seems like it isn't just in flatpak. I am guessing it is having a hard time figuring out which GPU to use in case of multiple GPUs.

Are you saying you get a crash with the tarball as well, or just a logged error message?

Does it crash if you install the Zotero 7.1 beta?

I had the same problem (Fedora + Flatpak) for months. Now, I was too annoyed and searched for help, found this thread and use 7.1 beta now. No crashes for 4h so far, fingers crossed.

@dstillman 7.1 beta seems to have fixed the bug. I was using stable release cause of the beta flag but the stable is still problematic.

- To all the future visitors of Zotero crashing, use the 7.1 beta if its the same error above.
