Many thanks for pointing it out that it isn't an official distribution of the software. I have since switched to the tar ball method.

seems like it isn't just in flatpak. I am guessing it is having a hard time figuring out which GPU to use in case of multiple GPUs.
Does it crash if you install the Zotero 7.1 beta?
I had the same problem (Fedora + Flatpak) for months. Now, I was too annoyed and searched for help, found this thread and use 7.1 beta now. No crashes for 4h so far, fingers crossed.
