"Duplicated Items" missing functionalities

"Duplicated Items" is very useful in that it shows items that you will want to deduplicate.
It selects item pairs and suggests the Merge function.

It is missing these functionalities:
- Delete. Sometimes I have pairs of Preprint-Conference paper, and I know that I want to delete the Preprint
- Edit. Before merging items, the user needs to make the items have the same type. But I cannot do it from here, I need to go out of this list, find the item somehow (how?) and edit
- Control that shows in yellow the collections/subcollections of the item (s)
  • You can ctrl+click on an item to select it individually and can then both delete and edit it.
  • If you have a single item selected that way, the key to highlight the collections the item is in (i.e. ctrl in Windows) also works.
  • Thanks @adamsmith!
I would never have thought of that but control-click is the standard key to change the selection.

However, it is a bit counter-intuitive: I need to control-click not on the item I want to operate on, but on the OTHER item. In fact after I release the mouse button but keep Control pressed, it highlights in yellow the collections of the OTHER item.

Maybe it's better to have a top-level checkbox "Select pairs to merge" and when unchecked, Click does the normal thing (selects one item).

    Cheers!
