"Date Modified" of Translators not updating

Hi,

I find that the "Date Modified" for almost all of my translators in the Zotero database is 1 Jan 2010 at 12:00 AM, despite that I clicked to update translators in Settings/Preferences.

However, when I look into the translator files, the "lastUpdated" date inside the file is the same as in the github repo. I wonder why the "Date Modified" property doesn't keep up with the updated dates.

Thank you!
  • Do you mean in the file properties in Windows? Any reason you care about those?
  • Oh, I forgot to mention that. It is the file properties in MacOS.

I'm concerned because during the Crossref server downtime two days ago, I tried to reset my translators before learning about what happened from the forum. The translators were all set to be the "1 Jan 2010 at 12:00 AM" version.

Later I tried to update the translators, but it didn't seem to work. Then I opened the file and saw the "lastUpdated" dates were much newer than the file dates. I want to make sure the translators are all good and up to date.
  • That's a bug that we'll fix — it should just be setting them to the current timestamp — but the files are fine.
