Upgrade Storagesync error

We have a fresh install of Ubuntu Mate 24.04 with 2 user profiles and have installed Zotero for both users to access.
We started with the Zotero snap but had some problems so uninstalled the snap and switched to the Zotero deb which was installed using the wrapper from retorquere.
All went well until the sync process failed with 29 items left to download, this was consistent over several download attempts.
We generated an error report which gave the Report ID: 1625976137.
