Save Note as Markdown File

I just wonder why Zotero save notes in the database instead of just save the notes as markdown files in the attachment folder? It would be easier to use other softwares such as obsidian to do high-level analysis. For now, plugins based export or sync notes sometimes cannot function well.

Because the notes can contain a bunch of stuff that's... not markdown (like live citations, other notes, etc.)
