Referencing Style Problem
Hi,
I have looked at a few posts shared before but I thought the problem still persists so I wanted to share this.
I open the Word document and switch to the Zotero tab. Then I click on 'Document Preferences' and select citation style. When I click on the OK button nothing happens.
I worked on this document about 5-6 months ago and Zotero most probably sees the references as text. Because when I click on 'Add/Edit Citation' I can't even edit the references. When I select the entire paragraph with my mouse pointer, the references would normally appear in dark color (please see second image). However, when I select the paragraph in this document, it appears in light color (please see the first paragraph). The document is the same document. I didn't change anything.
Can anyone who has had a similar problem and solved it please help?
Thanks a lot.

I read the link you shared but the problem still persists. I think I will manually re-add all the references.
Thank you for your time and help.
