Some questions!

A few days ago, the DOI lookup function stopped working (entering a DOI yields no response). Additionally, Zotero Connector fails to retrieve correct citation information from websites like IEEE and PMLR (except for Springer). Instead, it only captures a webpage snapshot.
  • (It's helpful to use a more specific thread title.)

Can you provide a Debug ID for a DOI lookup attempt that fails?

For the Zotero Connector, we always need an example URL for problems with saving. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.
  • According to your request, for the DOI issue, I gave the log: D1028867144; for the Conector issue, I also tried to save an article on the PMRL website and got the log: D900655886
  • In the plug-in connector log, there is:
    [Info: Service worker (re)started at 2025-03-12 17:13:49]

[JavaScript Error: "Tabs cannot be edited right now (user may be dragging a tab)." {file: "chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/zotero.js" line: 319}]

[JavaScript Error: "Tabs cannot be edited right now (user may be dragging a tab)." {file: "chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/zotero.js" line: 319}]
  • From the troubleshooting page linked above:
In rare cases where you're seeing a webpage icon on all sites or saving is failing on all sites, there may be a problem with your translators. Select “Reset Translators” from the Advanced pane of the Zotero preferences (if applicable), and then do the same for the Zotero Connector (right-click on the save button → Options/Preferences → Advanced tab).
You have a plugin installed (Jasminum) that modifies Zotero translators. Disable it and reset your translators.
  • Thank you for your answer, the problem has been successfully fixed, thank you very much!
