Exporting Citations from Zotero 7 to Office Word 2024

I am using Zotero only recently. I am resentful that I didn't know about this before; it would have saved me a lot of time.

Just reading research articles as PDFs is so much better with Zotero. And also, the Chrome extension that saves PDFs directly to Zotero is a great feature.

But a complete letdown is exporting references to Word 2024, which is a nightmare. I tried to install the Word plugin but couldn't; maybe Zotero 7 doesn't support it. After spending hours, I found a solution.

Export references as a BibTeX file, then open it in JabRef software, and then export them again as a Microsoft Office 2007 XML file format. This can be imported as a bibliography in Office Word 2024.

Is there any other easy way to do this?

This is the thing we'll help you with. If you're using Zotero and Word, you want to use the plugin. (Zotero 7 of course supports the latest version of Word.)

What exactly is the problem you're experiencing?

I guess, I was mistaken in the process. The problem is solved. I just re-installed the plugin from Zotero Edit -> Setting -> Cite -> Word Processors.

Now I can see a section of Zotero inside Office Word.
