Missing Safari connector

I am working on a MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip. My system is macOS Sequoia version 15.3.1. When I use homebrew to install or upgrade Zotero, the safari connector was not installed. However, if I download the .dwg file from the official website and do the 'drag to install', the safari connector is included. Has anyone encountered this issue?

You'd have to ask the maintainer of the Homebrew package. It looks like it's just downloading the .dmg, but I don't know exactly how or where Homebrew installs casks. macOS registers a Safari extension automatically based on an .appex in Contents/Plugins, but it might not do that in all install locations.
