Upgrade StorageAdding a new attachment pdf on another computer

I've been adding papers and their pdf from the web or my computer and now in the research lab I'm working on another computer. I've synchronised the library and I wanted to add another PDF (from web//computer) to be able to read the papers on this new computer, but Zotero refuses to search for it on internet or accept a new pdf from the computer.
Any tips ?
