Generate a report based on citations in a document (not bibliography)
I know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if it were possible to generate a report that will output each unique citation as it appears in in-text (footnotes).
I need to check all of my citations are generating correctly, I have all necessary data etc., which is straight forward for the bibliography but less so for in-text. I'm using Chicago 17th Edition (full note, short sub), so I need to be able to check first and subsequent footnote format.
I know I can just go through the file and review each one individually, but I re-use a lot of citations and the footnotes are not in alphabetical order (making the process a little more cumbersome). With many hundreds of footnotes, it would be ideal if there was some way to generate a report.
Can Zotero or a third party plugin do this?
