Upgrade StorageHow long should I wait for a bibliography to be generated on a very long document?
I expected this to take a while, but for a 200 page doc with approx. 400 references, how long should I wait? When the computer goes to sleep is this interrupting the process?
I'm using MacOS Sonoma and MS word.
It's been 9 hours so far and the rainbow spinning wheel in Word continues.
I read in an earlier post approx 5 minutes per citation, but that's 30+ hours! Could that be true? If I wait that long, and then I get an error message or nothing happens?

Just let it run over night and turn sleep mode off on your computer.
You can also go to the "Debug output" in Zotero to see what's happening.
If you have access to a Windows machine, you can always try it there. That will speed up things.
If the Mac goes to sleep does it stop the process?
How much quicker is it with Windows?
