One citation gets and 'a' and 'b' in text and reference list?

I am using Zotero 2.0.2. In a text of mine I cite the same book several times. In my Zotero database I have it only once, yet in the text some occasions are marked like (author 1995a) and some like (author 1995b). In the reference list the book also appears twice. Any clue somebody?

    There must be another copy of the reference lurking somewhere in your database. Is the book also in your Zotero trash folder? (If so, emptying trash should delete the other copy and break references to it in the document. You can then replace them with references to the remaining item.)
