Book Section data from datacite dois
Kia ora!
I'm helping publish a few books and I'm manually (through the datacite API) setting up the metadata in datacite so each chapter has a DOI.
I'm setting up the parent book as a relatedItem, and when I use the DOI lookup in Zotero the title of the parent book comes through fine. The problem is the book editors are not. If I set them up as creators, they come through as authors. If I set them up as contributors, with editor as the type, they come through as "contributors".
I don't have much choice in our registration agency, and I'm thinking that crossref may have a richer metadata schema for this, but ... I have what I have.
If this is anything like other queries I've posted I'm missing something obvious.
The DOI of one of the items I'm working on is 10.26021/15688

adamsmithSo we're looking at Steven Ratuva for that DOI, yes? I think there's just a typo in the import code that should be trivial to fix; it's supposed to get editors already (but as you note there aren't many examples of book chapters in Datacite, comparatively speaking, so no one had reported the bug so far)

wonderpupYep: Steve is the Editor in that case. Thank you!
