Google Docs: Citations unlinked when doing a Refresh
The citations on several of my google documents have become unlinked for no reason. one document is a chapter of my dissertation that I tried to "Refresh" and was presented a prompt that reads "You must insert a citation before performing this operation.". When I restore a previous version in which the citations were linked, they appear fine but at the top right where the zotero icon appears there is a note that reads "You must insert a citation before performing this operation.".
Someone please tell me there is a way to restore the citations without having to do so manually (one by one).
