Chicago 17th edition full note gives incomplete footnotes

Hello,
I am using Zotero to generate my in-text citations. On the first citation of a source it generates a correct full note, but when I cite the same source a second time it only generates "author", instead of the correct form of author and short title. The short title is added in Zotero. And I have tried several times to "reboot", refresh, and change styles to try to get it to correct itself, to no avail.
How can I fix this?

Yes, thank you - I am using Chicago 17th (full note), but in all the rules I have read for this Chicago style, the second citation still needs to have a "author, short title" and not just author as is what's appearing here.

Just author is correct for immediately subsequent (formerly ibid) citations. As damnation says, there are different versions available, both one that uses ibid and one that always uses the regular short note with title
