Zotero on iPad not opening files available on my PC

Hello!

I just got an iPad, and the first thing I did was download Zotero. After downloading, Zotero found all of my files. However, none of them would open. I keep getting a message saying, "The attached file is not available in the online library. Please check that the file has synced on the device where it was added." I have not had any issue opening these files on my laptop. I'm not sure what is going on, and I hope that someone has some insight into fixing the issue.
