Multiple modifications on Zotero
Hi there,
I have multiple questions.
- First of all, idk why but when I open that style : https://pastebin.com/JxXA53pd
Zotero tells me that it doesn't work, I press "Ok, try anyway", and it perfectly works. What problem would you think about ? I would like to correct it because I might use that style specifically and I wish to avoid any bad surprise...
- Then, I am working on ten different authors of novels and hundreds of theoricians.
I wish that the first occurrence of each novellist is "normal" (like Name, surname, titre etc...) in the footnote, and from the second occurrence, it should be IN the texte, for example :
blabla : " citation of the author" (Name, p. 12). blabla
So the footnotes of my essay will be lighter.
BUT I would like to keep my usual footnotes for theoricians, like mentionned in my Zotero style.
Here is an example of what I would like to get :

- Also, as you can see on the image, Zotero puts "Ibid." but in the two citations of Genette, it's the same book and the same page, so it should be "Idem".
What should I write in the style to get that modification, and where ? Knowing that I DON'T want to apply that modification to the novellists' citations as they are not in footnotes from the second occurrence.
- I copy-past here the usual style that doesn't show any error on Zotero, in case the first one would'n work for you : https://pastebin.com/PBmXcPJS
Thanks a lot for your help and have a nice day !

1. It tells you it is not correct and valid CSL. Typically it works though unless there is a serious issue.
The error stems from line 6. Match that up to line 7 and it won't show this message anymore.
2. You will want to modify the "subsequent" section for that. That is the section starting in line 530. Currently it'll output name, title & locators. You'll want to remove the conditional with the title etc.
I am a complete beginner so I have no idea about how to proceed/which mention I should add and where for the 1 and 2.... The last time you helped me, you gave me the indications about what to write and where to add it (and it worked :D )
Anyway, thanks for these explanations so far !
