Ibid issue
Hi all,
Is it possible to avoid the use of “Ibid” when inserting the same citation in a different pages?
Is it possible to avoid the use of “Ibid” when inserting the same citation in a different pages?
When I cite the same reference on the same page, the Note becomes "Ibid plus the page number if I specify the page".
When I recite a used reference on a different page, the Note becomes "Ibid plus the unique number of the used reference.
And here comes the problem, on these different pages, the unique number it used is from other references, not the one I intend to cite.

For numeric styles the numbers are indeed managed by CSL+Zotero. That's handled via the CSL variable "citation-number" which you are using in the bibliography.
The numbers for note styles, even though they can look the same, are inserted and managed by Word. Zotero says "Please give me a footnote, I want to add some information there".
I'm not sure what you want to achieve, but what you currently have will be confusing.

This is the first reference I inserted on the first page, therefore, it has a number as can be seen in the footnote (pictured above), and it also has another number as can be seen in the reference list at the end of the document( pictured below )

Now the issue is If I use that reference on any different third page of the manuscript, the number becomes something else (Pictured below), instead of being [1], because [1] is the attributed number for this reference.
