Zotero Translator: Auto-Translation Behavior Varies by PDF

Hi,

I'm using Zotero v6 with the built-in PDF reader and the Zotero Translator feature. In most cases, when I select text in a PDF, the translation appears immediately below the selection, and if I highlight the text, the translation is automatically added as an annotation.

However, in some PDFs, the behavior is different:

When I select text, instead of the translation appearing immediately, a "Translate" button pops up, and I have to click it manually.
When I highlight text, the translation is not automatically added to the annotation.
I checked my General settings in Zotero and confirmed that:

"Auto-Trans Selection" and "Auto-Trans Annotation" are enabled.
"Save to Annotation Comment" is selected.
"Replace Raw when Adding to Note" is also enabled.
What could be causing this inconsistency? Could it be related to the PDF's properties (e.g., OCR vs. non-OCR text), specific settings in Zotero, or a bug in the translator?

I would appreciate any insights or solutions.
