Nothing happens after clicking "Convert Linked Files to Stored Files"

I have run into this same issue. When I click "convert files to stored location" I get the dialogue box and click "continue" but nothing happens. I've restarted Zotero but it still won't work. Suggestions?

    To be clear, you have to select an item with a linked-file attachment or a linked-file attachment itself and then run Convert Linked Files to Stored Files, and the attachment should be converted. That's all. If you think that's not happening, can you provide a Debug ID for doing that?

    You can't convert linked files to stored files if you can't actually open them on the computer you're using. You're trying to convert Windows paths on macOS. You would have to either convert them to stored files on Windows or set up a linked attachment base directory on both computers so that they're relative paths and accessible in both places, and then you could convert them on either computer.
