Android beta unwanted behaviour

When viewing a PDF (with jump page switching, single page mode, horizontal scroll, page fitting — fit) with the system navigation buttons turned on, it is hard to switch to the next page on a horizontally oriented screen. The reason is that when you enter full screen after tapping the screen (thus making the system navigation buttons and the status bar disappear) and then try to swipe the page to the left, it only causes the system navigation buttons to reappear on the right side of the screen. After that, when you try to swipe again, it is impossible to change the page—the swipe merely makes the system navigation buttons disappear and reappear. Note that it is still possible to swipe the page to the right (to go back to the previous page) and to swipe pages in vertical screen orientation on the second swipe, which is acceptable. It also works well with the system navigation buttons turned off but only a full-screen indicator on (as it is called on Xiaomi phones—a small bar near the bottom of the screen when using gestures that mimic those on iOS), since it appears near the bottom in horizontal orientation too.

I use Zotero (1.0.0-134) with Android 11
