Citekey anomaly

In my depository/library I have a fair amount of Japanese sources saved. When Zotero creates the citeky it uses title name, but with transliteration from Chinese rather than Japanese pronunciations. Is it possible to change that?

Example:
室町幕府の成立基盤 would be Muromachi bakufu no seiritsu kiban
Instead it becomes ShanJiaShiTingMuFunoChengLiJiPan
