Numbered references (ACS) break LibreOffice Writer master documents
Hello;
I'm currently using LibreOffice Writer in tandem with Zotero and its plugin to write a thesis. Since the document is large (~100 pages), it's generally recommended to use a .odm master document and incorporate chapters as subdocuments. When using a citation style like APA where in-text citations are formatted as (Doe, 1990); Zotero behaves perfectly well in the master document with both in-text and complete bibliography citations.
However, when switching to a numbered style such as ACS, updating citations breaks formatting and makes some text dissapear. Troubleshooting with small subdocuments, I noticed that Zotero seems to insert a line break before the in-text citation. I'm attaching a picture of the problem - the text should be continuous where marked by the red rectangles.

This problem is not present in normal .odt documents. Note that updating citations through the plugin is necessary to mantain a cohesive numbering scheme through all subdocuments.
I understand that simply copying everything into a final huge document is a possibility. However, having a fully functional plugin for master documents would be excellent. This issue has been reported in the past, and I hope it can be solved in the future.
Thank you!
