Variable / Mapping of the language field

Hello,

I'm trying to show the language field via my citation style, but can't find the right variable for mapping it. Is this even possible?
I tried this way: <text variable="language" />

The reason is, that I'm writing English papers but use some German citations which I would like to show the language label "(German)" in the bibliography.

    the field isn't mapped at the moment.
    You can find the complete mapping in the csl.js file
    chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/csl.js
    also, I think the documentation is complete at
    http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/csl_syntax_summary

    That's sad - I'll have to find a workaround
    and hope it will be implemented in a future version.
