Upgrade StorageInstructions for Zotero WebDAV sync for mobile devices
- As far as I found on internet Infinicloud gives the highest free storage by 20 GB. This is a generous storage for your files to be stored across mobile devices and easy to set up.
- I have spent quite a bit time to find a proper, easy to install solution and solving the technical problems.
- Since I couldn't find a detailed instruction, here I share one to provide detailed information for people who want a WebDAV sync.
# Setup in Infinicloud
- After creating Infinicloud account, go to https://infini-cloud.net/en/modules/mypage/usage/
- Turn on Apps connection

- If you do not se an Apps Password reissue. (After password reissue, it takes a couple of minutes the new app password to be activated)
- Save Connection Id and App Password
- Create a zotero subfolder

# Setup in Zotero
- Make sure the Zotero 7 is downloaded. By the date of this entry that was the latest supported Zotero version (check following link for further info https://infini-cloud.net/en/clients_zotero.html)
- Make sure you have logged off (or deleted) the Zotero app in other connected devices (phone, tablet)
- Make sure the C:\Users\{user}\Zotero\storage folder is not symlink
- Make sure the files you have sync in "My Library". (WebDAV service does not work with Group Libraries)
- Go to Zotero/Edit/Settings/Sync/File Syncing choose WebDAV option

- Click `Verify Server` and you will get a pop up window sayin "File sync is succeesully set up"

- Go to .../Sync/Reset and click `Show Reset Options` choose your libraries and Reset File Sync History (not the other options).

# Validation
- Go back to your Infinicloud zotero file. You suppose to see your Zotero storage carried to the cloud with .zip and .prop files.
- If you do not see the files are not uploaded and sure that you have followed the steps well, ask support in the Zotero forum.
