Can't support/documentation open in a tab instead of a window?

I use Firefox in single-window/open in new tab mode, but when I click the support/documentation item in the actions menu a new window opens. The trouble with this is that it sometimes makes Firefox forget my current session in the 'real' window.
It might be a conflict with TabMix Plus, but even if so the support/documentation *should* open in a new *tab* if Firefox is in single-window mode, shouldn't it?

I can confirm that (on 3.5.8 /ubuntu) - and it's not a conflict with TabMix, which I don't have installed.

Happens to me as well on XP. I even have an additional addon installed that is supposed to force anything to open in a tab in the current window, and in fact the Zotero support link is the only thing I have found that still manages to open a new window.
