Zotero OSCOLA format
Hi,
I am using Zotero for footnotes in the OSCOLA format, and have a question in this regard. It seems, based on the OSCOLA guide that subsequent citations of the same source should refer back to the first use of the same source within the same chapter, so that the source should always be given in full when entering a new chapter (https://subjectguides.york.ac.uk/ld.php?content_id=33345299). However, when using Zotero, it seems that subsequent citations of the same source always refer back to the first time the source was used in the document, regardless if it was used in a previous chapter. Is this correct? Am I misunderstanding something?
Best regards,
K

adamsmithNot really specific to OSCOLA: Zotero and CSL styles have no sense of chapters, so all references/behaviors (like ibid) are by document. If you want by-chapter behavior, you'll need to write in by-chapter documents.
