Help needed: Is Our Library really publicly accessible?

Hello,

so far we have been using Zotoro as an internal library.

Now we want to make it accessible to the public but have difficulties doing so.

Our name is Arbeitsgemeinschaft Funktionelle Entspannung (A.F.E.)
Location Berlin

And in the Privacy Settings I have klicked "Publish entire libray"

But members of our group cannot find it under zotero.org and neither can I. Can you see or find it.

Any hints what I might have done wrong.

Thanks so much, Regine
  • Presumably you can see the library online? If so, you can just paste a link here and see if others can open it, in which case it's public. Group search is restrictive because groups have used groups for spam
  • Also note that the privacy settings for "Publish entire library" are for the account's personal library. If you're trying to publish a group library, you need to update that group's library settings to allow anyone on the internet to view the library.

Also note that it's not possible to make files publicly accessible.
  • Thanks for your comments. So far I am still trying to publish the entire library - or is it advisable to rather publish a group library.
Well, here is the link to the entire library https://www.zotero.org/ag_fe/library
could you check, whether you can find it. Would be glad to get this issue solved.
  • Yes it's accessible. You can just link to it from your homepage or any other place you find relevant. You shouldn't rely on Zotero's search/site to make your library findable
  • Thank you, so much. Do you have any ideas, how libraries can be found viel Zotero's search site?
