Zotero storage not synching properly?

My Zotero account storage is convinced I'm using up all of my data (99% of 30MB), even when I'm actively deleting files to make space. At one point it went down to 92%, then shot back up to 99% again for no reason. Any advice? I can't upload any new references like this.

You can add as many references (I assume you mean items and citation data by this) as you want. File syncing is irrelevant.

So why are you deleting files? If you are not interested in syncing the files to another computer (300 MB is not much), you still have full functionality of the app on that computer, and even have all your data sync (which is free - does not add to the 300 MB limit); It's just that your local attachment files won't sync to other computers. You can keep using the app, add as many items as you want, and have that data sync to as many computers as you want.
