Doesn't retrieve meta information from google scholar

My understanding is that, when I drag a new pdf into zotero 7, the new item it makes for it will contain meta information retrieved from google scholar. This doesn't work for the pdf here:

Below is the bibtext of the entry zotero 7 created for this pdf (removing the abstract and path for brevity):

No, Zotero hasn't used google scholar for this for ages -- it caused all sorts of issues (including getting folks locked out of google scholar). Zotero runs through a couple of different options, but generally works best when PDFs include a DOI. This one doesn't, so Zotero does the best it can guessing the metadata, but that's typically more limited, as in this case. What you're seeing is as expected.
