Problem with Zotero Sync: Desktop

I have an issue where my Zotero desktop library is more up-to-date than my online library. However, whenever I sync, it reverts to the version in the online library, and my desktop changes get overwritten. How can I make sure that my desktop library is the primary source, and that it properly syncs and updates the online library with the latest changes?

    That’s not how syncing works. There’s no “primary source” and it doesn’t “revert” to anything — it syncs changes you make on both sides. It would only be showing you the version from the online library if you actually made changes to the online library or another synced computer, or if you restored from a backup after syncing local changes to the online library.

    If you do want to undo changes you made elsewhere, you can use Replace Online Library.
