Issue Transferring Zotero Data from Windows to MacBook

I am trying to transfer my Zotero data from my Windows computer to my MacBook. I manually copied the Zotero data to an external hard drive, but when I attempted to transfer it to my MacBook, I encountered compatibility issues, and the information did not sync correctly.
Could you please assist me with resolving this issue or provide guidance on how to properly transfer the data?
