Old version of Zotero app

I’m using an outdated ipad mini that I really like using to read papers, but there’s no way I know of to install Zotero there as it’s not compatible with the new app. I notice some apps let users download the old version. Can that be the case for Zotero (pleaseee)? Is there any other way to get around this? Any advice is appreciated!

No, this isn't controlled by app developers. It's only possible if you've previously installed an app. The App Store then makes it possible to download the most recent version that was compatible with a given iOS version using the same Apple ID. If you haven't installed the app (and can't do so now on another, newer device), there's no way to download an old version.
  • Thank you! Sad to hear that. I'll have to just make do until I have another iPad then.
  • I was happily using an unknown version of Zotero on my iPhone 7 Plus. Yesterday I updated the Zotero to the most recent version (Version 1.0.45 Build 304) that was compatible with my iOS 15.8.4 (iPhone 7 does not allow newer version of iOS).
Then I was depressed to find that: unlike the version I used before, this version of Zotero seems not allow me to read papers in Landscape mode. This is quite unbelievable.
If possible I also want to go back to the older version I used before.
