Can't get through to my Zotero library

I am working on a Word document but when I click on Zotero on the pane, it doesn't take me to my Zotero library. When I click on the Add/Edit Citation button, it doesn't take me to my library. (I hope the image has been successfully attached.) I will be most glad to get some help.
