Upgrade StorageTurning off "Automatically download associated PDFs" in Chrome or Firefox Connector does nothing
I've read through innumerable threads of people having comparable problems in the past. But unlike with theirs, mine hasn't gone away despite having restarted both browsers and zotero itself many times. This is a universal problem for me. Any website with PDF attachments is effected. Sage, tandf, duke, oxford, etc.
While I'm here, I'll ask a related question: does having items in your library attached to PDFs make the application run even marginally slower than having them without? I'm not anywhere near the size of library where this would be beginning to have any impact but I'm trying to be forward thinking.
I'd appreciate any help here. It's become a game of how fast I can close the tab to try and cancel the download.

Having attachments doesn’t make Zotero run more slowly, no.
