Feature request - pause sync when editing reference

When a new reference is added via the web plugin, details are often wrong, requiring correction. Very often when making these corrections immediately, changes are lost because the entry synchronises during the edit, causing changes not to be entered. Ideally sychronisation should therefore be paused when an entry is being edited.

Changes shouldn't be lost, though. Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If you can still reproduce it, we'd want to see a Debug ID for doing so.
