Feature request - pause sync when editing reference
When a new reference is added via the web plugin, details are often wrong, requiring correction. Very often when making these corrections immediately, changes are lost because the entry synchronises during the edit, causing changes not to be entered. Ideally sychronisation should therefore be paused when an entry is being edited.

dstillmanChanges shouldn't be lost, though. Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If you can still reproduce it, we'd want to see a Debug ID for doing so.

leejones@dstillmann - thank you for your response. Unfortunately I cannot see the "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode" menu item under "Help" (or anything else). The only plugin I have is the Zotero Word for Windows integrator. Would manually disabling this have the same effect?

dstillmanYou should start by updating to Zotero 7.

leejones@dstillmann, thank you! I am not sure why my version was behind as it is set to auto-update. I updated to v7 and then to the 64-bit version, and the problem now seems to have gone away. Thanks very much for your help.
