How to set ivi quotations?

Hello everybody,
I'm a graduating student at the University of Bologna and I'm currently writing my final essay in order to graduate. Until a few days ago I used the APA 7th edition citational style, but my thesis supervisor made me change it, asking me to number the citations and to add full notes at the end of the pages. So I did, I set the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note). I still had an issue, because I also used ivi and ibidem quotes and, previously, I had written them all manually, in brackets. After doing some research I found and installed a variation of the Chicago style I use, which has ibidem included, and it works. I've been trying to find a way to insert also numbered ivi citations with the note at the end of the pages, but I'm still not able to do so. I tried the "Insert note" function displayed on the Zotero Word panel, but I don't understand how it works, as I write the note, push enter and then everything disappears.
I also thought of insert them manually, but I don't know how to number them along with others citations, as Zotero does it automatically.
Thank you in advance for any kind of help provided
  • As far as I know, the ivi/ibidem distinction is used only in Italian -- Chicago Manual just uses ibid. with or without page numbers. I think it's possible to modify the style, but could you describe with a couple of examples what you actually need?

    Insert note is irrelevant here.
  • Yes, until now I inserted them this way: (ibidem), (ivi, p. 10-11). I need to insert instead a numerical quote, with the number at the apex of the word, and the full note (where I would write ivi, ibidem), with its relative number, at the end of the page. I might have found a way after more trying, though. I tried to insert a random note with the word feature and I noticed it's automatically numbered along the others (I was convinced that Zotero numbered them, it's my fault, I haven't been using this feature for years because I use Zotero since 2021-22). I think it could work
